    Original Santal is a great fragrance. It is similiar to Joop but much more complex and long lasting. I purchased a sample before investing in this fragrance to ensure it wasn’t just an overpriced Joop. Joop is very effervescent and overpowering (I don’t own it). O.Santal lasts all day and my wife loves it. It cools w/in a few hours and the sandalwood takes over. The fragrance is concentrated so you only need a few well placed spritzes in a fragrance free carrier lotion to ensure all day coverage . I expect this bottle will last for at least 1yr or more.

I usually use silver mountain mist but I wanted to give this on a try. I love it but will probably go back to silver when this one is gone.     I ordered this never having smelled it because I don’t think I have ever had a Creed Fragrance that I didn’t like. I took a chance on an expensive cologne and I was very happy with the result. It’s a somewhat strong fragrance and I use it for special occasions when I want to make a statement. The wife loves it and that’s all that matters.

    The perfect fragrance. The sandalwood is powerful and this scent will draw compliments over and over again. Chic magnet. I love Creed scents. This would be a virtual tie w/ Creed Aventus and just under Green Irish Tweed. Creed colognes are the best out there. Original Santal is one of the all time greats

    Bought this for my wife as I smelled it in the boutique and was hooked. Legitimate quality here and paid the best possible price. Creed is a top notch house of quality fragrances. Original Santal does not disappoint. Some say it smells like Joop and I have to disagree. I know very well what Joop smells like and I when I do smell joop that synthetic vibe always tells me there is joop in the air but when someone is wearing this no one will say you are wearing joop. It is only after someone tells you or you read comments about it being like joop is when you smell OS and see the cinnamon note and think of Joop but OS is more complex then Joop and with base of $$$ ambergris you can find in the cheap department store stuff.

    I love this scent! The dry down is sweet with some spice. I know that Mont Blanc Individuell is very similar but there is a distinct difference and the quality of the Creed perfume is noticeable. Will definitely but again. Great Price at FragranceX!

    When I wear Original Santal I like to spray around 7 times as it doesn’t project huge and it is a more intimate scent.
    I prefer to wear this scent on a night out with the fiancée at a steakhouse but it could be a scent you could wear anytime and anywhere. Very playful and sweet scent that draws attention to those that are close to you.
    This one I rank right up there with Aventus, GIT, and EROLFA, very intimate and classy sweet scent!
